Our support workers, mentors, and peer support mental health workers are trained in mental health and behavioural frameworks. Our team is mentored and trained by psychologists and positive behaviour support practitioners, which means we are equipped to support individuals with mental health and behavioural complexities.

Samy
As Managing Director, I lead the business operations, strategy, and growth of both Arise Allied Health and Arise Community Support Services. With a background in real estate and a strong understanding of people-focused industries, I bring a practical, results-driven approach to building high-quality, inclusive services. I’m passionate about leading teams and creating systems that are sustainable, person-centred, and make a real impact. With an entrepreneurial mindset and years of hands-on experience in the disability sector, I’m driven by purpose as much as performance. I understand the importance of building businesses that don’t just grow—but grow with integrity, compassion, and lasting community impact.
Co-Founder & Clinical Lead

As a registered psychologist and Board approved supervisor with years of experience in a variety of settings, I oversee the clinical team and ensure all services are delivered to the highest standards of care. With a strong commitment to person-centred and evidence-based practice, I invest in training and mentoring our support workers and mentors, helping build a skilled, compassionate team that delivers meaningful outcomes for the people we support.

Born and raised in South Australia, I’ve worked 27 years in Disability Support, progressing from Support Worker to Service Manager at Arise Community Support Services. I’ve supported Children, Youth, Aged, Disability, and Aboriginal Services, with a strong passion for inclusion, goal achievement, person-centred support, and empowering individuals to thrive.
